Library Handouts/Bulletin Board Policy

As part of its public service and information mission, the Nottawa Township Library acts as a distribution point for handout materials of non-profit groups, community groups, and governmental agencies. Handouts of a commercial nature will not be accepted.

The library also provides a bulletin board for announcements of programs and activities sponsored by non-profit, civic, cultural, educational, and religious groups with priority given to the Centreville community. Announcements of private or commercial events will not be accepted.

Final authority for handouts and bulletin board announcements rests with the library director or appointed staff. All items will be removed by library staff following the date of the event. Items will not be returned unless arrangements are made with the library prior to posting.
