Public Computers

The Nottawa Township Library has six computers that are available for public access to adults, including one in the children’s room. Additionally, the library offers four internet computers accessible to teens 14 to 17 with parental permission forms on file. Juniors under 14 with a parent present may access our two Junior internet computers. Younger children may enjoy the two non-internet gaming computers. Many of these computers have been donated by the Bill and Melida Gates Foundation and have Office 2007 and Internet capabilities.

The library is also equipped with free wireless Internet for use by patrons who wish to bring in their laptops.

Computer access is free (printing charges apply to printed copies) to all library patrons. For Internet access, adult patrons must have reviewed our Public Internet Access Policy, and our Computer Use Rules. Minors under the age of 14 must have a parent or guardian with them at the computer for Internet access. Minors 14 years of age and older must have an Internet permission form filled out and signed by their parent or guardian.

Our Computers Have the Following Software:

  • Microsoft Office 2010: Word, Publisher, Excel, Power Point, Access
  • Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox (Web Browsers)

There are also numerous educational and entertaining software programs available for children on our public access computers.
